Yikes. That sounds terrible (after the initial good week in lala land)

And leave the hospital. And get off the drugs. I did it all within days. Then I had to live life with crutches, going up and down three flights of stairs in college, etc. I had handicap access but the handicapped parking was in the ONE spot where all the ice built up in winter, a perfect spot for the college President to laugh at the people on crutches as they crawled over the ice, on the way to the distant sidewalk.

You've actually encouraged me, making it sound like a Disneyland ride without the cost of the hotel, plane fare, etc. One of my best weeks was the one after a drunk driver hit me (that part wasn't great) when they put me on something that made me feel great for an entire week with very vivid dreams and no awareness of when I was asleep or awake. Then they made me move out of that hospital bed and I couldn't stop throwing up. But as long as I held still, all was well. Unfortunately, they wanted me to learn how to use crutches.

I had a high fever (105) a few years back and it hasn't been the same since. I should also warn you that I have very intense dreams
