Invisible comments flying around and then appearing at random

Today, AC blew up in a way that may have happened to some of you pros. Being paranoid about this, I assume it was because I commented on some article about the Perfect Wife and How to Be One. That article was written by someone a year ago and I pointed that out because people were hissing and spitting about it now (maybe it was a Valentine's day feature or pre-feature?)

In any case, my comments today would go into cyperspace and not seem to appear on AC. Then, within the hour, they ALL showed up. clogging some writers' comment forms and looking like I was pandering to them intentionally. I was not. If I want to pander, I can do it on my own. I don't need AC tweaking my pandering skills. I'm not the only one who had this glitch today. I would suggest leaving that Perfect Wife article alone and let it run its course, getting a zillion hits. The Perfect Wife is kind of bitchy and into payback. Or else it is just a coincidence that my comment appeared on that article and my other comments stopped appearing everywhere else.

Comments are now back and the comment count on the perfect wife article seems to be more accurate.

No. It is the Perfect Wife article. It unhinged people and it unhinged the site as well. That is my theory.

well I just read a Perfect wife article and saw a lot of comments but never saw yours. Perhaps there is more than one perfect wife article? I don't know if I could stomach another.
